New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is required for all new Hennepin Technical College students. Students may attend orientation on either our Brooklyn Park or Eden Prairie campus, regardless of where you intend to take classes.

The goal of new student orientation is to help students successfully transition to Hennepin Technical College. Topics covered at orientation include new student information, college success strategies, financing your education, and understanding D2L and e-services programs.  At orientation, students will also have the opportunity to set up student email, get a student photo ID, tour the campus, talk with student services staff, and more!

Please arrive on time for orientation and bring along your student/tech ID number as well as your password.  A campus map and directions are available online at http://www.hennepintech.edu/about/pages/74. Please be sure to note which campus your orientation session will be held on and look at the map and directions to that campus. Park in the visitor parking lot and sign in at the reception desk inside the front entrance.
